The pro's and cons
The pros to online communications in my own opinion contradict with the cons in many ways. The pros are that it is fast, efficient, and usually free, with the exception of AOL. The cons are that with most communicating online is that you don't know who you’re talking to. When you’re talking to someone who met in a myspace chat room or something like that you don’t know if they’re hacking into your computer central system and stealing your credit card information and much more. They could also be sending you a virus that would decapitate your virus blocking system you have installed within minutes and then set up there own virus blocker on your computer so they will have access to the sites you visited and your information. And because most people don’t remember what kind of virus blocker they downloaded they will just assume that is the one they originally downloaded. I am not saying don't chat online, and also the odds of what I am saying of happening aren't very likely, it still happens so when people chat online they should be careful, and know who they're chatting with.

Yeah I also think that online communication is good because it is fast and easy to use but it can be dangeorus because you may not know who you are talking to.
there are also many other pros then just fast and free. you are saying paper. you can talk to people no matter where they are as long as they has internet access. all of your cons are true and i agree with you. i think that the chances of getting a virus is very high.
