There are many problems with communicating through online messaging, chat roooms, etc. There are also many high points as well. Some pros about communicating on the internet is that you can meet new people through the internet. Although that is not always a good thing, there are safe ways to meet new people online. Many people communicate through places like myspace or facebook, and although they can be dangerous, there are preventions for keeping online predators away. Many people also communicate through instant messaging. To do this, a screen name is needed, which is a form of safety in my opinion. E-mail is also a good way to comminicate, it just takes a little longer to communicate because of the process one needs to go through. In my opinion, email is safer than instant messaging because of the fact that if an email looks wierd, you can delete it and not worry about it again. I also believe that online chat rooms are more dangerous than instant messaging because people post so much more personal information on those websites that they are just waiting to get into trouble. Those are some ideas that i believe are important.
