Pros and Cons of Communicating Online

When going online there are many pros and cons when using IM, email, blogging, and chatrooms. A pro of using IM is that you can talk to friends or people you know without having to talk to them face to face, and still getting a message them in the comfort of your own home. I find that good because you can make new friends and "enlarge" your social life. One bad thing about using IM, is that you sometimes don't know who you are talking to, which means that you could be talking to some weird person who wants to bully you online, or do something worse. Now, on to email! I think that one good thing about email is that you can send a message, and you will know that they will get it even if its not that day or week... Another good thing about email is that typing is easier than writing, and you don't have to wait for your message to get delivered. One con about email is that if someone else gets your password and username, they can find personal information about you. For example, your friends, where you will be at a certain time, what car you drive... Thirdly, blogging!! One positive thing about blogging is that you can express your opinions, and get feed back from people, with a variety of opinions. The down side of blogging is that people can express their opinions, and sometimes they might not be positive ones. Lastly, chatrooms!! The wonderful thing about chatrooms is that you can talk to multiple people at once instead of sending several messages to multiple friends one at a time. I think that the bad part about chatrooms is like IM. I mean that sometimes you don't know who you are talking to,which can lead to some of the things that were said about IM.
