The pros and cons of online communication are various in that they all serve different purposes in the every day world. Some of the types of online communication are Email, chatroom, IM, and internet blogs. All of these types of online communication have pros and cons. The pros and cons of Email are that its fast and easy to use. Email enables people to communicate long messages over the internet with just the click of a mouse. Its easy to use and good for business negotioations. The cons of email are that it is unreliable.Sometimes Emails are unreliable becasue email can send you spam messages, its could shut off, and you never really know who you are talking to. The next one is Instant Messaging. IM also has many pros and cons. The pros to IM are that you are communicating with friends instantly over the internet. Its good because if you have a question you could just send them an instant message wrather than call them. It really is instant. The cons of IM is that if yoiur internt is down you cant access it. Also your friends might not always be online so its risky. Next chatrooms are good because you can get different oppinions on different topics fast and quickly. You are talking to a bunch of differnet people at once on a certain topic. The cons of this are that wierd people go into those chatrooms and ask personal questions about things. There have been many different cases of stalkers and things because of those chatrooms, so I would stay away from them. Lastly blogging is good because you can post info on a topic over the internt so every person can see it. The cons are that they are unreliable and they have false info on topics. Also you dont know if the info is true or unreliable.
