This is a quick and easy way to talk to friends and family. The downside of using IM is never knowing if you’re actually talking to the person you think you are. Anyone can hack into an IM account and pretend to be people. It is a good idea to practice safety when talking on IM. Using email when online the most common way to communicate. It is an easy way to send a long letter to friends and family. As oppose to hand writing a letter and waiting for it to be mailed, an email will be sent immediately with no confusion. You can also attach pictures or documents to emails. A con of emailing would be hackers getting your password and being able to find out personal information about your life. Facebook is a website that allows users to have their own webpage displaying information, pictures, friends, and comments. It is a good way to talk to friends and share pictures of events. A very bad thing about facebook is that very personal information is on display, this includes birthday, where the user lives, age, relationship status, and friends. Finally, blogging is a very effective way to communicate online. It is an easy way to express opinions and receive feedback. The con on blogging is that people can express their opinions in a negative way. communicating online has many pros and cons.
