Pros and Cons of Communicating Online

There are many pros and cons of communicating online. Something very good about communicating online is that you can talk to your friends right from your home on your computer. There are many ways to communicate online. They are instant messaging, email, and chatrooms. The most used online communication is email. a big con is that many parents do not know to use the computer and it can be confusing to set up. That is very annoying. Something else that is very good is that you can talk to your friends any time of the day as long as they are online. Another good thing is that you can meet new people. That includes people from your town or people from out of town. The biggest con to communicating online is cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is when someone makes fun of you via instant message. Many kids have commited suicide or refuse to come to school because of how bad they were cyber bullied. Another big con is predators. Many people go online and talk to people pretending to be somebody else. They ask to meet and when they do the predator will take the child. Although there are many cons to communicating online, if you use it right and be safe it can be very very fun!!!!!
