pros and cons

Online communicating can be safe and fun but at the same time very dangerous. The safe part about online communicating is that there are some chat rooms that are very safe only members who have to pay and everything stays secrets. In someways my space and face book can be safe by being able to have the option of keeping your profile private which means that you have to be requested as a friend and only you friends can view your page. By not excepting people you don't know you are staying safe and protected. By having all of these options it is a pro for online communication. The cons of online communication is that with Instant messenger anyone can access your screen name . Also with face book and my space people could post bad pictures or make rude comments towards you that could offend you. Another con to communicating online is that people could send you attachments in your email that could lead to viruses. Over all i think that communication online can be safe or not safe depending on the person who is online .
