Online communication has increased over the past few years in many ways. However there are many pros and cons of online communication. The most popular ways to communicate online is AIM, emailing and chat rooms. Pros of using online communication is that emailing is much easier then writing a letter and waiting for it to get mailed. By emailing one another you know that they got the email right away and just have to wait for them to read it. Instant messaging is an easy way to communicate because you send messages to another simultaneously in seconds. A con is that it can be dangerous tho because anyone can IM you and talk to you. Even if you dont know them. Chat rooms are an easy way for you to talk to a lot of people at once about your opinion on one topic. A new way for teens to chat is on facebook. Its a social network when teenagers like highschool students, and college students and all communicate and belong to their own network. They can send private messages, wall posts, and even chat. To be able to communicate with one another they have to be friend requested. This way strangers can not contact you unless you accept them.
